School spirit is having pride in your school and its activities. If you have school spirit you do every thing you can to support your school. If a school has good school spirit, they are more likely to be united together. One large group of people can chant louder than many individuals yelling on their own. Impoving school spirit is a group effort. It takes more than one person to get everyone pumped up about our school. So, what are we waiting for?

School Spirit is pride and unity for your school.Showing that you support the school and thier teams. Having the idea of being able to be part of your school with out having people thinking you are dumb for caring about your school. You should care about everyone in the school and espeacilly about the school its self.

Okay, wow this is a big deal. Everybody, take a deep breath and relax. We don't have to cram what we think school spirit is down eachother's throats, however tempting:) Everybody has their opinion of what school spirit is...maybe that's it! Perhaps school spirit is not concrete, perhaps it's just a feeling. It's fun. I'm proud to be a Titan, I wouldnt want to be anything else. And I have fun acting crazy. But that's only one way of showing school spirit. Someone else may never get excited, never cheer, never anything at pep assemblies, but they can still have a great amount of school spirit. It all depends on the individual. There is no right or wrong way to school spirit. But, don't be afraid to have fun. ;)

Oh, by the way, according to an article in the titan times, part of the school spirit problem was linked to the senior class not knowing what was going on, for example our senior t-shirts not getting voted on and such. I'm not supporting this theory, but since a problem was mentioned and I have seen other people say they didn't know what was going on, including myself, I propose a solution. Perhaps Stuco should start their own blog, where EVERYTHING is posted, and not just done half-way. I think this would be a great way to get the word out. And, it allows the student body to easily post comments back to stuco without going through the box. Let's face it, the box has failed. Most people will not use the box. But, perhaps people will use these blogs. Let's update stuco; go modern. Lol.

School spirit is being proud to be a Titan. It supporting everything CUHS does and the students that are invovled. Take it from me when the student body is cheering for your team it gives the player and team confidence to achieve their goal. The student body is involved in CUHS atheletics, but we need to take it a step farther. We need to bring school spirit into ever aspect of being a Titan. We should be proud to wear the colors red and gold. We need to come together and make a difference in our school. The Senior class "needs to bring spirit back" into our school activities.

to me school spirit is not just about cheering at football games or any other sporting event. a school is made up of more than that. showing respect for your teachers and supporting school organizations also is included. ya screaming at a football or basketball shows you have spirit but helping ur school does too. spirit is important because it shows that you have pride to be a titan or a lion or whatever your school is and it even helps the players get pumped up when they hear the crowd yelling for them so come on show a little spirit.

i also agree with what whitney said. all of these teachers are saying that our class has no spirit. well if they would pay attention to us then they would see that we have different ways of showing our spirit than the other classes. we have always been the class known as having the least amount of school spirit and i think that a lot of us are actually proud of that fact. now all of these teachers are trying to make us change that image that we have created throughout our years of highschool. like whitney said before if they would stop trying to force this on us then we might actually do something.

School Spirt is believing in your school going the distance for your school. Making sure you are at every game letting everyone hear your voice and let them know YOU have school spirt, But in order for school work we need to get the whole school involved.
