Borat

If you saw the flick, you must TYPE a 1 and 1/2 page review of the movie.

1. Tell me the plot of the movie.

2. Tell me what point the director was trying to make with this movie and whether or not they succeeded in making the point. Who was the intended audience of this film?

3. Tell me what you thought of the flick- likes, dislikes, etc. Would you recommend this movie to anyone?

4. Talk about the lawsuits that people have against Sasha Cohen. Are they right in suing him? Or just trying to cash in on the film's success?

This is due now on Thursday....I wrote this up but I forgot to upload it. My bad!

V For Vendetta Extra, Extra Credit

1. Before the end of next Wednesday, Nov. 29, write a TYPED move review. that answers the following 3 questions:

(note, do NOT write it in 1. 2. 3. Form. If you do, you will get ZERO credit for it.)

1. What did V mean when he said, "The people shouldn't be scared of the government. The government should be scared of the people?"

2. What is the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist? Was V a terrorist?

3. What do you think the flick's author, Alan Moore, was trying to say about the current state of world affairs?

Carefully consider your answers to these questions. There isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer, but you will be given points based upon how much thought you put into the answer and how carefully you chose to answer the questions. Remember, please answer the three questions as you write your essay. THIS IS A MOVIE REVIEW- YOU NEED TO TELL ME WHAT YOU LIKED and DID NOT LIKE.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
